The City of Bunbury is a bustling port city with beautiful beaches, a working harbour and a vibrant centre that provides a stimulating environment for residents and visitors.

The Bunbury office is located in Building 3 of Edith Cowan University Campus. The office is equipped with a photocopier, printers, fast internet access and library resources.

Accommodation

  • Three fully furnished four-bedroom homes are located in College Grove, roughly five minutes walk to the South West Health Campus. College Grove is seven kilometres from the centre of town.
  • Student homes have wireless internet access.
  • Bunbury is well-serviced by buses and taxis and bicycles are available to students if they wish to cycle.

Health services

Bunbury's private and public hospitals are both located at the South West Health Campus. They share many facilities, including an emergency department. Suites for a radiology practice, pathology service and for specialists, both resident and visiting, are located in the St John of God Medical Centre.

Bunbury Regional Hospital has 103 inpatient beds consisting of six wards – Surgical, Acute Psychiatric Unit, Medical, Maternity, Paediatrics, and a High Dependency Unit.

There is a Primary Health Division offering services for inpatients and outpatients including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dieticians, incontinence and diabetes educators, speech therapy and social workers.

St John of God Health Care offers 120 beds, including for maternity, surgical, medical and palliative care purposes. This private facility also offers an allied health service with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and provides the community with oncology, renal and palliative care services.

Between the two facilities, there are 10 theatres, including Day Stay and Endoscopy units.

Bunbury is serviced by about 55 general practitioners in 13 general practices.
